Frequently Asked Questions

Sessions are 60 minutes, giving you plenty of time to move through the experience at your own pace. We encourage you to use this time to catch up with friends, meet someone new, or simply enjoy a little peace and quiet. Dealer's choice.

There isn't one right way to do it.
Most guests rotate between the sauna and cold plunge a few times during their hour, spending 10–15 minutes in the sauna, taking a quick rinse, and then 1–3 minutes in the plunge. Others skip the cold altogether and let the fresh air do the work.
Listen to your body, move at your own pace, and don't overthink it. This isn't a competition; it's just an hour to feel better than when you arrived.
-
There's no magic formula. Listen to your body. Many guests spend 10–15 minutes in the sauna followed by 1–3 minutes in the plunge, but comfort and good judgement always beats a stopwatch.

Bring a water bottle, a large towel, and a swimsuit or athletic attire. We also recommend sandals or other slip-on footwear for moving between the saunas, cold plunges, and building.
We'll provide a small towel for sitting in the sauna and wiping away sweat. If you forget a large towel, we've got you covered. Shower towels are available to rent for $3. That said, we encourage you to bring your own.
-
Clothing is required. Swimsuits or athletic attire are recommended. Just don't show up expecting to hang out naked.
-
Saunas and cold plunges aren't appropriate for everyone. If you're pregnant, have uncontrolled high blood pressure, significant heart disease, glaucoma or certain other eye conditions, a history of fainting, epilepsy, or any medical condition that may be affected by heat or cold exposure, talk with your healthcare provider before visiting.
If you're feeling ill or under the influence of alcohol or drugs, please sit this one out.
-
You can absolutely walk in. We just can't promise there will be room for you. Booking online guarantees your spot and is highly recommended; unless you enjoy unnecessary suspense.
-
We get it. Life happens. We just ask that you cancel at least 2 hours before your session.
Cancellations made less than 2 hours before your scheduled session will result in a $10 late cancellation fee for members. If you're using a day pass or session pack, you'll forfeit that session credit.
If you know you can't make it, canceling early gives someone else a chance to grab your spot.
-
No problem. You can still join your scheduled session, you'll simply have less time to enjoy it.
-
A little of both. Sessions are shared with other guests, but there's no expectation that you chat with anyone. Some people come to catch up with friends. Others come for a quiet hour to relax. It’s your call.

Rain, snow, sunshine, or a good old-fashioned Midwest gray day, we're open.
The only time we'll cancel or shorten sessions is if our staff determines conditions are unsafe, such as thunderstorms, hail, tornado warnings, or other near-apocalyptic weather events.
If your session is seriously affected, guests using a day pass or session pack will receive their session credit back. Unlimited members...well, you'll just have to come back tomorrow. We'll still be here.
